I'm Max,
and here's my story->
From growing up on motocross bikes , to rallying on the world stage after winning the African continental final of FIA Rally Star’s worldwide young driver talent search in 2022, I am living my dream.
After a strong training season in Europe in 2023, I completed my debut season in the FIA Junior World Rally Championship (JWRC) in 2024, placing 7th out of 22 crews. My first podium at Rally Italia Sardegna was the highlight of my season. In 2025 I earned a second season in the JWRC as one of the two FIA Rally Star drivers. I got my first stage win at Rally Sweden and a WRC3 podium at Rally de Portugal. 2026 is my first year as a privateer.
I am described by those who know me well as having a lion heart and an extraordinary belief in myself. I am fiercely focused and have my sights set on returning to the WRC in 2027/8.
