My Motocross background

Motocross was my first love in motorsports. I got my first motorbike at 4 years old and would ride until my tank was empty at that tender age.

My passion for the sport has never faded. In 2018 I was fortunate to join a training school with Marc de Reuver, the iconic Dutch MX champion. He ignited another level of passion, determination and focus in me. After many years of riding for fun, I was confident to race in my first regional championship in 2019, at the age of 16 in the 125cc high school class. I came 3rd in my class in Cape Town that year and received the trophy for the most improved rider.

Since then I have competed in a few races but haven't raced another full championship.

I absolutely love the sport and believe it has helped me develop talent and skills on four wheels, and that these formative years of motocross helped me win the FIA Rally Star African continental Final racing the TN5 LifeLive CrossKart.

I still ride for fitness and fun but my focus has turned to rally where I want to develop and grow my skills and perform at a professional level.

Enjoy some photos of me ripping the MX bike.
